Transparent aluminum Yes its real!

Transparent aluminum named new state of matter.

We all remember the scene from Star Trek IV in which Scotty, despite his unfamiliarity with the Apple Macintosh mouse, hammered out the molecular structure of transparent aluminum. The real material is a little more exotic, requiring a high-power laser pulse to knock out a core electron with disrupting the metal’s crystalline structure. Transparent only to UV light for just 40 femtoseconds, this aluminum is nonetheless unlike anything scientists have ever created.

DoctorSlime Visits With Shepard MotorCycle Club

DoctorSlime had a wonderful opportunity to meet a great group of Michiganders, the Shepard Motor Cycle Club... Most on Harleys I noted, came to visit Shields on a road trip, we had lunch at The Old Time Road House on M-46 Gratiot Rd. in Thomas Township. The day was beautiful the roads were smooth the food was good but a little slow, due to the size of our group, even if they did call a head. I would be pleased to call any of these bikers my friends. They are traveling the state trying to find a long list (Scavenger hunt) of very strange items and sights, it appears a green haired mad scientist was just one of many things they were looking for, if you see them in your neck of the woods, wave, and smile. They are the good guys, even if they wear black leather, I think its to stay warm, in the 55-60 mph wind they are always in. After being invited to lunch, I waved bye and watched them roar off, in the warm Michigan Sunshine!
