Yesterday was Great!
9/17/2008 I drove down to south Lansing area to visit the Hill Center, Maples Conference area to take part in a waste reduction seminar. I got to sit in on the other sessions, and learned a lot
about the facilities part of waste reduction at Educational institutions.
My Part, "How to Create a lesson while Reducing Hazardous Waste!!!" I must say was one of the better attended sessions, and it had double the number of expected attendees, I was expecting maybe 4-10, with 10 being a high number, and I had up to 18 people in my room at anyone time.
Wonderful Teachers, who actually got excited by the concepts, and methods I shared with them.
Reaching students is tough work, but getting a teacher excited is even harder. I feel as If I did a great job, many of them expressed interest, and were committed to getting this to work for them at their schools.
